P23 Labs, a high-complexity molecular diagnostics lab, is proud to announce its support of Crisis Text Line with a charitable donation on May 23, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Crisis Text Line is a non-profit organization that provides free, confidential support to people in crisis via text message. Crisis Text Line offers assistance with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, loneliness, suicide, self-harm, and more.
As part of its ongoing #P23BeGiving campaign, P23 Labs is dedicated to making a positive impact in its community throughout the year. Through charitable contributions, volunteering and giving back, P23 Labs generosity and commitment to their community doesn’t end there. It extends into their product offering which focuses on accurate test results that inform patients about their health.
The company’s Pharmacogenetics testing is a powerful tool for optimizing mental health treatment, allowing healthcare providers to personalize treatment plans based on a patient’s genetic information. With this approach, providers can make more informed decisions when selecting medications, resulting in more effective treatment and fewer adverse side effects for individuals living with mental health conditions.
“At P23 Labs, we understand the importance of mental health and how it affects people’s lives. We are proud to support Crisis Text Line, a vital organization that provides an important resource for people in crisis. As part of our ongoing social responsibility, we are committed to giving back to our community throughout the year, and this is just one of the ways we show our support,” said Dr. Tiffany Montgomery, CEO and Founder of P23 Labs.
P23 Labs gives back regularly throughout the year, with efforts ranging from monetary donations to back-to-school drives. The donation to Crisis Text Line on May 23 is just one of these efforts.
P23 Labs encourages everyone to support Crisis Text Line by donating, sharing information about the organization, or volunteering their time. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Crisis Text Line is committed to reduce stigma and increase access to support anyone in need by recruiting volunteer Crisis Counselors and fundraising. Gather your community and join us during the month of May by helping us #DoubleTheGood to build an empathetic world where nobody feels alone.
