In recognition of National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, P23 Labs is proud to announce our sponsorship of The Loveland Foundation, an organization that provides essential treatment services to Black women and girls. By supporting The Loveland Foundation, we aim to contribute to the empowerment and emancipation of the communities they serve.

The Loveland Foundation was established in 2018 by Rachel Cargle in response to her widely successful birthday wish fundraiser. Her enthusiastic social media community raised over $250,000, which made it possible for Black women and girls nationally to receive therapy support. Black women and girls deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations. Rachel Cargle’s inspiring journey began with a simple birthday wish in 2018. Utilizing the power of social media and her enthusiastic community, she raised an astonishing $250,000, making therapy accessible to Black women and girls nationwide. This initial success laid the foundation for the organization, which has grown to become a beacon of hope and healing for marginalized communities.

The Loveland Foundation recognizes that healing and mental well-being are fundamental human rights, and they are committed to ensuring that Black women and girls have access to these vital services. By removing barriers to mental health support, the foundation enables these individuals to heal, grow, and thrive. The impact of their healing goes far beyond the individual, as it can positively influence families, communities, and future generations.

What sets The Loveland Foundation apart is its innovative approach to creating lasting change. In addition to therapy support, the foundation offers fellowships, residency programs, and listening tours to empower and liberate communities of color. These initiatives promote education, amplify voices, and foster leadership, creating a ripple effect of positive change.

Here at P23 Labs, we are acutely aware of the pressing issue of mental health in today’s world. We understand how challenging it can be to navigate through difficult times. The struggle becomes even more profound when vulnerable members of society cannot access proper treatment. With our proposed pharmacogenomics tests to adjust medication, we recognize the wide range of personal peculiarities that need consideration when building a medications plan. We are dedicated to making the right treatments available and ensuring that mental health issues are treated with the respect and care they deserve.

The Loveland Foundation believes in the transformative power of empowerment and liberation. Through their programs, they provide spaces where Black women and girls can share their stories, heal from trauma, and grow as leaders. This approach not only helps individuals recover from adversity but also strengthens communities, inspiring unity and solidarity among its members.

As P23 Labs joins hands with The Loveland Foundation, we recognize the power of collective action. The path to social change is paved with collaborative efforts, where individuals and organizations work together to dismantle systemic barriers and create opportunities for marginalized communities.
